As a guitarist and music teacher, I gained extensive experience both as a live performer and a technician. This dual perspective naturally sparked a deep curiosity for sound, drawing me into the world of audio production, recording, and professional mixing.

We built Mixxatu because we realized that improving as a mixing engineer usually happens alone. You get stuck in a loop of endless tutorials, random feedback, and unfinished sessions. Without real structure, it’s hard to tell if you’re actually getting better or just repeating the same habits.

When we started out, we faced these exact challenges. We hoped to find a place where we could be seen and supported. Now that we have gained experience, we decided to join forces and create something that could help others on the same journey.

Alone you might go fast, but if you want to truly grow, the real magic happens in a community, sharing the process with others.

This belief is also why we collaborate with companies and artists who share the same vision: building a better environment for learning, experimentation and growth.
